Need help choosing an automatic litter box?

I am getting an automatic litter box for the first time, and I have one cat. Currently we have a regular litter box, but my mom is getting tired of having to clean it every day. So i thought i would like to buy her an automatic one for mothers day. I have never bought one before, but I want one that is not too expensive, not too loud, and works really well! I also want it to last for a long time! Please help!

If she doesn’t like cleaning, she won’t like an automatic litter box. These devices get dirty and need to be thoroughly cleaned once a week. Scooping every day and cleaning a regular box weekly is a lot less trouble than the kind of cleaning an automatic box requires.
I have a normal one, but "scoopfree." is supposed to be the number one automatic litter box. it shows here;

You clean every 30 days or so.
All you do is leave it and then when you want, pull the handle and it cleans the waste. Then you can refil every couple of weeks.
The price for this one is $49, but baring in mind its the best one and you wont have to buy a new one for a long time, i think its a good invertment.
